Got Uber Eats from the Burwood Cafe Do they say It was so ice cold I'd have expected it to come from Ultimo.

We have been to The Lobby previous to this visit and always experienced great food and excellent service. This time around the service was next to none even though the restaurant was not busy and the food was very ordinary. Attention needs to be paid to the temperature of the meals, the presentation of the meals and the flavour combinations.

I had dined out for lunch and was after a light evening meal My choices of Vanilla Poached Pear, Prosciutto, Blue Cheese, Hazelnut & Rocket and Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta, Strawberries, Ginger Syrup, Mint were both fresh, flavoursome and gorgeous to look at. The restaurant was quiet on the night we dined and my only complaint would be that the wait staff seemed more interested in setting up for breakfast than attending to us. However the food was so good I will be back

Staying in the hotel, we sought out the Lobby for dinner, and enjoyed two very satisfying meals - duck for Herself, veal cutlet for me. Portions were ample (we had a bowl of steamed vegetables between us, recommended if you like to keep your intake of greens up) and served neatly.Continental breakfast is buffet, of course, with an adequate selection of fruit and cereal, though a limited selection of bread - brown, white or raisin - and a chance of gluten-free.
