Zudar's Bourbon St. Grill - Tampa

We walked here from the hospital after a long day of waiting while a relative had surgery. The food and beer was EXACTLY what we needed, and the waitstaff is super friendly and very fast.

Fantastic value for great food. Happy hour oysters are the best deal in town.

Zudar's is a classic staple of Tampa. I have met many friends and colleagues there for lunch over the last few decades, in addition to a simple solo lunch. Unfortunately, I fear Zudar's is going through the same challenges as all local restaurants. They need to make money, but in order to do so they need to way over charge for their food. I like Zudar's very much, but I can't afford to go back.

Everything was super exceptionally delicious as usual

The guy at the bar with the long beard is obviously a passionate hospitality worker.
