Mission Barbecue - Tampa

I'm here several times. I like the grills. Plenty of space inside and outside. You order at the counter and if you are ready, they will call your name. I command rib and pig, and I liked both, also baked beans are great. Prices have risen. Every person ends now $20-30, was less before. In my opinion, quality is unchanged and still great and tasty. No need to go to Texas for barbecue. Get in the neighborhood. Casual dining, with moderate noise level. Various pictures and military and police memories of the walls are interesting. Overall for Grill Kenner this is the place to go??

Really good BBQ and a bunch of sauces to try. Truthfully doesn't even need the sauce though. Cool place. They keep the theme going throughout.

Unbelievably the best, hands down barbeque I have ever eaten and I'm from Kansas City, notorious for exceptional BBQ. This place far exceeds any smoked delectibles I have sampled to date. In fact, upon last visit, I ate everything on my plate and went back to the counter and got a second plate, it was that good!!! Plus they have several varieties of BBQ sauce to suit your tastes, as well. The place also has a distictive unique character, with police, fire dept, military service artifacts, pictures, and memorabilia decorating the place. And at certain points all patrons are encouraged to stand and observe the USA national anthem. If you are a veteran, or know anyone who has served, this place might be a treat or at least a special place to show gratitude to them for their service. Aside from that, the apple cobbler is life changing and so delicious, it's a certainty that after eating here you'll become a regular after the first visit. Thank me later! So good!!!

Wow! Great BBQ. We found this restaurant on Yelp. When we walked in, I knew that it was going to be good. You could smell the smoke in the air. We were met at the door by Felicia, their Community Support Person. She explained that their mission is support active and retired military and law enforcement. I instantly felt right at home. Everything they make is made fresh daily, the have no freezers. We had 3 Meat Sampler; chicken, brisket, and pork, with coleslaw. It was amazing. The have a wide selection of sauces, from sweet to spicy, right at the table. The Brisket was melt in your mouth. The pork and chicken were smokey goodness. I highly recommend them. The have 110 locations.

Having visited other locations , I stopped here for a late lunch bbq delight. It never fails to deliver great flavors and good food. I was a bit thrown off by the tomatoes added to the collard greens, which I personally believe added an acidic note that didn?t compliment the greens at all. It was definitely asking for a saltier touch or at least not an acidic fruit added to them. My wet brisket sandwich was ?, and so the ribs when I tasted my friend?s.
