Mandola's Italian Kitchen - Tampa

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I will definitely be coming back. I love that you can order your food and then sit down. It's becoming rare to find good service at restaurants these days, so I appreciate their efficient ordering process. The food tasted fresh and the kids' meal even comes with gelato. The restaurant is cute and clean.

We highly recommend a visit to this place. We celebrated our 37th anniversary here, and the food was fabulous. We will definitely return. The restaurant is very clean, with friendly staff and a wide variety of menu items. Once you're inside, it's hard to believe you're in a strip mall. There is plenty of parking available as well.

The customer service during a weekday lunch was excellent. I would rate the quality and flavor of the meal as 9 out of 10. I ordered a side of grilled chicken and a side of grilled veggies. While there is a meal that includes the same components, it is cheaper to order them separately. I do wish there were more options for lighter meals on the menu. However, I was very pleased to see that they offer covered outdoor seating, which is a big selling point for me.

Nice friendly Italian restaurant. A lot of self service areas and have to stand in line to order and pay. Three separate areas. 1. Liquor. 2. Desserts ,coffee and gelato. 3. Food. Almost like going to a market. Food was good and delivered hot to our table. The bread was outstanding served with herb olive oil. Located in the old Sweet Tomatoes building in Carrollwood. Price for 3 people with beverage, salad and dessert was about $60.00 Lots of families and youngchildren. Definitely worth a return trip.

The atmosphere was decent but different for an Italian restaurant. The music was a nice variety but too loud for my liking. I don't want to shout to be heard over the music while trying to enjoy dinner. I may consider returning to try an authentic Italian cappuccino, but I won't be back for dinner. I have had better Italian food at other restaurants. The dinner was also expensive, with no extras included, and it ended up costing over $80 for the three of us, not including the tip. No thank you!
