Ciccio Cali South - Tampa

Absolutely delicious!!! The Big Italy is the most flavorful meal I've had in a long time. I was surprised to see such a small portion of sauce, then when I started eating and everything was so flavorful on its own, I realized why because it doesn't need a lot of sauce to be delicious. My partner had a pizza which he also thoroughly enjoyed. I love that they incorporate plenty of local ingredients as well!I'm vegan, gluten free, and soy free, which can be a challenge. Our server, Noelle, was happy to answer all of my questions and even consulted a tablet that has all the ingredients for each item listed to make sure she was giving me the right answer.A wonderful experience all around!Vegetarian options: Lots of tasty and filling options with menu items clearly marked dairy free and plant based (as well as gluten free)Parking: A few spots out front with plenty more on the side!Dietary restrictions: They clearly label what is gluten free, dairy free, and plant based on the menu. If unsure about an item, the server will either be able to answer or, if not, will happily grab the tablet that has a list of ingredients for each dish/item.

Healthy eating in the heart of Tampa. The ingredients are fresh with tons of options. The prices are on point for great portion sizes for very tasty food. I brought my friend who hadn't been before and as we walked out she said she planned to add it to her weekly rotation of eateries. Delicious!Food: 5/5

Cali's is always fantastic. Go often for the taco Tuesday Thai tacos. Went Tuesday/yesterday and had to write a review. As usual excellent food and sangria. But the service definitely stood out even more so than the food. Our server was Noel and she could not have done a better job. We were greeted with a big smile. Very sweet kind and attentive. The manager came out to see how our meal was. And all six of us agreed it was great and the service was also great. I would highly recommend Cali's. DELICIOUS

Food is really good. Could have spiced the tuna more (but was still good). They had live music which was nice. Would have sat down to eat but had to get takeout due to circumstances. Cashier could have provided better service and have a better attitude.Food: 5/5
