Big Ray’s Fish Camp On The Riverwalk

Firstly, the lobster corn dog is out of this world!!! If you only go for that, it's more than worth it. Also the grouper sandwich is very very good. The grouper nuggets were ok. Really good batter they fry it in, but that's about it. The lobstercorn dog is the real star of the show.

That was not all. the garnel basket was fried in a maisbrot with not much spicy. the riders were not hot after 20 minutes. I would suggest all of them try the location as we started. the cash seemed very friendly and accomodating.

I was at the convention center for an event and went to this place for a beer afterward. The beer was very cold, which I really appreciated, especially given the temperature that day. On a hot day, there is nothing like a very cold beer to make it all better. I also had good service, so perhaps I was lucky that day as I have seen that other people have complained about getting bad service here. I think the prices are a bit high there, at least I thought the draft beer in a plastic cup (not a pint but smaller) was a bit expensive at $8, it felt more like a $6 pour, but you are paying for the location more than for the drink. Overall I enjoyed my time there and would stop again if in the area.

We have eaten and attempted to eat here a few times and unfortunately it's always been a really bad experience. The first time, we got a server after about a half hour, placed our orders, and didn't see them again for an hour when our food came out. The food was okay, but not nearly as good as the original location. The next 2 times we sat and waited for a server for 20+ minutes and left. I would love to eat here more often, but sadly we are forced to keep walking past this great location and what could be the great food of the original Big Rays

Smells good….bartender told me to sit anywhere and someone would be right with me…..sat here 20 mins, no one came so I’ll find somewhere else I guess? Seems like a great place to start a restaurant……
