Babushka's Hyde Park - Tampa

I visited Babushka's for the first time and was truly impressed by its charming authenticity, the helpful menu recommendations from our fantastic waiter, and the overall culinary experience. From drinks to dessert, Babushka's made for a delightful evening with friends.

The food was fantastic, and the decor gave the restaurant a cozy, home-like atmosphere.

The food here is delicious! This is my fifth visit, and I’ve never been let down by the quality. They offer a fantastic selection of reasonably priced Eastern European cocktails and wines. However, parking can be a challenge and often feels quite tight. Additionally, regardless of the season—be it the height of summer or the depths of winter—I always find the temperature inside uncomfortably cold. It’s not just a slight chill; it's quite chilly. I recommend bringing a sweater!

As a Ukrainian, I found the food to be truly authentic and delicious. The restaurant's atmosphere was delightful, and the service was commendable. I highly recommend the sampler plate; it was the standout item on the menu. However, the salmon, ordered by two of us, didn't impress and wasn't anything special. Surprisingly, my husband ended up enjoying my dinner more than his own.

This might be my new favorite restaurant. Everything was so flavorful and the service was excellent.
