Steak N Shake - Tallahassee

It took 20 minutes to get a burger. One of worst places I have gotten food to eat. Staff acted as if I was a insignificant patron.

Most Steak 'n Shake locations have decent hot food. Additionally, their consistency is always a plus, as the burgers are consistently tasty no matter which location I visit. However, this specific location was disappointing. The burger was cold and simply not up to standard. There isn't much else to say.

The milkshake machine doesn't work often and when I ordered a grilled cheese, I received a Frisco melt three times before finally getting a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese I got had no specified meat. I also witnessed a worker making herself a milkshake before I purchased one.

We decided to give Valdosta Steak and Shake a try, but unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. After waiting in line for 7 minutes, a Manager walked past us without acknowledging our presence. Despite there being 4 cooks and another manager in the kitchen, we were still left waiting to be seated. Eventually, after getting the manager's attention, we were seated by a server, only to sit and wait without being served. Disappointed by the poor service and the old, dirty restaurant, we decided to leave. It was truly a terrible experience - why weren't customers greeted or taken care of promptly? Why were there so many cooks and managers in the kitchen instead of having one manager on the floor attending to customers?
