Pupuseria El Comalito - Takoma Park

Overall, I was quite satisfied with this restaurant. The pupusas were excellent, and we sampled nearly every variety. The cheese was particularly flavorful. I forgot to take a picture of the pupusas, unfortunately. As for the pan con pollo, it was alright. The first one we received had cold chicken, but they later brought us a warm one. Personally, I prefer the chicken shredded rather than in whole pieces, but that’s just my personal taste.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for families! The pupusas are the best I've ever had, with about 15 different varieties to choose from. The service is excellent, and the sopa de res is outstanding—well-balanced and packed with vegetables; I counted eight! It certainly makes for a hearty lunch. They include plenty of beef in the soup, achieving a wonderful umami flavor. My son tried the tamarindo drink, and it was delicious and refreshing. I will definitely return to explore more of their offerings!

This is undoubtedly one of the most delightful spots in the neighborhood. Every time I visit, I come away extremely satisfied. They consistently maintain excellent service and serve outstanding food. You can't go wrong choosing this restaurant. Highly recommended!

This is the best place near Dc to get Salvadorean food, because t has many options of authentic food from El Salvador and their pupusas are absolutely tasty i 100 percent recommend this place to go dine in
