But the vibe was great, the music amazing, and it was such a lovely down to earth vibe there. I loved the menu too. It was a great place to bring friends and family and just gather and eat. Also, parking was a breeze. So there?s really no reason not to go.
This restaurant did not disappoint from the initial phone call to the last bite! I was skeptical of ordering third party due to reviews so I picked up myself and I?m glad I did . The staff were personable and attentive . The patrons were pleasant and clearly communicated their satisfaction with Mansa Kunda. Supporting black business was intentional and the icing on the cake . I ordered the plantains, chicken jollof rice , meat pie, and Afra chicken . Everything was
I have the Akara butter, Plantains and Curry with Tofu. All we are, and I'll go back soon.
I would just give this restaurant 5 stars, but HappyCow does not allow 5 stars for non-vegan restaurants. The food is exceptional, and the taste checks all boxes. Great location, ample seating and several vegan choices including desserts. The owner is very attentive and welcoming. We will definitely visit this facility.
It was such a pleasure to find this restaurant and I'm positive that we can try more dishes again. Almost all articles are vegetarian, but are really vegan. And much of the menu was gluten-free including all cakes available for dessert (frozen cakes have cream cheese frosting and are not vegan). We chose the tofu in our courts and that meant 3 large pieces. Paneer is the vegetarian option (together with meat choices also). Both came with rice. The Yassa was a delicious onion-based stew with roasted carrot, cabbage, green olives and baby potatoes. For me, that was the winner's court. The Peanut Butter Chu was a close two. Another delicious stew with cabbage, carrot and potatoes. It wasn't exaggerated peanut butter, but you knew it was there. The Veggie soup was thick, full of vegetables and came with a delicious brown bread roll. They had 3 vegan (not frozen) cakes when we visited. The pineapple on the head was ridiculously good. The chocolate raspberry was also very good. We did not try the mango cake (can be next time). Parking in front of and on the side of the building.
