Sunnyside - Tahoe City

It was really crowded, but my sister and I had a lot of fun! The night before New Year's Eve was fantastic, and everything was great!

The dining experience was fantastic, and the view was remarkable! I can't wait to return! The service was excellent as well!

I had an excellent dining experience with the pistachio-crusted halibut, which was delicious. The flower soup was wonderful, and the salmon bowl was fantastic. The highlight of the meal was the incredibly delicious chocolate ice cream cake.

We remembered it as a “fine dining” steak and seafood restaurant, dimly lit, quiet, elegant. Instead, it was brightly lit, full of families with children, the menu was more casual. The appetizer (coconut crusted calamari) reminded me of bar food. The entrée choices were much fewer, but entrées were good. I had to wait most of my meal for a water refill. So, this experience was much different than our expectations. Not bad, but not great. Decent.

The food was excellent and the staff very friendly! When making a reservation, be sure to reserve by the window to see the view of the lake!
