Stayed there for a wedding. Charming, cabin-like rooms with amazing continental breakfast. And being right on Lake Tahoe isn't so bad either Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Meh... Returning to visit after 10 years, I found these changes: 1. The once deservedly famous fried zucchini sticks are now middling indifferent. 2. A sort of adequate hamburger with soggy fries costs about 20 bucks. 3. staff is polite; I suppose that's good enough. Then again, there appear to be a fair number of options. I'll give them a try next visit.

As a local establishment, it is the restaurant's responsibility to be bear-aware and to take every possible measure to protect our bears. This could include investing in bear-proof containers and ensuring that everything from the outdoor bar is brought inside each day. You are generating significant revenue from tourists every year and can certainly afford the necessary equipment, training, and wages to uphold these standards for the sake of being good neighbors to our wildlife. Recently, a video posted by an employee showing bears rummaging through open trash bins and coolers went viral on TikTok, putting these bears at risk. Please take action to address this issue.
