I would rather spend my money somewhere else next time
I tried jasper’s grilled liegempo, crispy leumpo (like chicharon/buckle) and chicken caraage (like overpriced deep-fried chicken skin, really). in general, the food is very good for their price; they serve their meat also with fluffy, high quality rice. I just don't understand why they are so rigid to spend with sauces. they let them choose between grill sauce or vinegar. they wouldn't let them both have. even if they offer to pay extra, they will still not let them have their extra other sauce. lest very good for customer service.
The first time here in Jasper’s in science hub, mckinley hill. I had jasper chicken for Php120.00, it is a deep fried chicken thigh fillet in a sweet soy ingwer garlic sauce actually tastes it like bon chon na can eat long ng ingwer. at mas kaunti ang serve
I ordered chicken karaage (now at P100.00) and iced tea (16oz P35.00) her karaage did not give me a wow factor. I expected a tasty chicken skin, but in my opinion, the chicken skin street foods in the subway are more tasty than that. not oily and definitiw crispy. I wish it were saltier. the vinegar fits perfectly to the karaage her icy is sweet and I love it. it helps to relieve the Umay factor they could get when eating the karaage. I recommend buying the larger size (P70.00) during the break this place is overcrowded. there are limited seats around the kiosk, so most customers just prefer to bring their meals I just...more
If you're working at one of the tower's of Science Hub, this is the nearest place where you can buy freshly cooked meals. It's a little pricey but the food here is nice. Specially love their BBQ sauce. My go to foods here are the Chicken Karaage which while it's named with the famous Japanese chicken strips is actually a Chicken Skin marinated with their special breading and is best eaten with rice and BBQ sauce (Regulate eating it since it's bad for your help but delicious), Honey Barbeque Chicken which is a Fried chicken fillet with a Barbeque sauce and rice, Chicken Steak with Mojos which is s fried chicken fillet with mojos and lately I've been loving their Grilled Liempo which is a...read more
