Stanley Seafort's Steak Chop Fishhouse

Food was lacking unfortunately. We came here for a birthday dinner, we had a reservation when we got there we were seated quickly. We had drinks appetizers and our main course when I made the reservation through OpenTable it asked, are you celebrating anything special? I indicated her birthday when we got there and checked in the hostess said there’s gonna be a piece of cake for the birthday person which never came out we didn’t ask because we were already full, but the food which was shrimp still had the veins in there, so we alerted the manager, the manager apologize provided us a new meal, but just the overall experience the food portions were small and the quality wasn’t up to par. We probably won’t be back unfortunately for dinner most likely happy hour though, because they have the best views

At first I was a bit annoyed by the wait. Why would you ask me to wait for clean tables when I have called in advance for reservations? After 15min we sat down and the server was super friendly. They will listen if you ask for medium rare (some restaurants will still bring them well done) so be sure to ask as you wish. Overall really nice and I will be back during the day and appreciate the view.

Stanley Seaforts used to be our favorite restaurant, but then we moved from Washington State. We are now back in Washington, and decided to try Stanley Seaforts for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly, and all of them wished us a Happy Anniversary. We had a window seat, and the view of Tacoma was stunning. I had the grilled salmon with fingerling potatoes, asparagus and brussels sprouts. My husband had the pea salad and the seafood fettuccine. He said that it was the best fettuccine that he had ever had! It was not heavy on sauce, which he liked. My salmon dinner was also very good. I knew that it would be a large portion, so decided not to order a salad. We ended dinner by sharing key lime pie. They prepare it with whipped cream on top instead of merangue. We love it. The plate had 47 Years written in chocolate! Very special.

Service and food were outstanding. Stanley and Seafort has been our go to restaurant for special occasions.
