Birrieria Gourmet - Tacoma

I 'm more than happy. This place it 's absolutely snazzy.I 'm from Mexico city and I 've been so disappointed in each time I 've eaten at the big mexican restaurants , that food is everything but mexican.This place took me home, food taste awesome, The birria en caldo taste like Mexico!!!Guys I 'm so proud to find little businesses like yours . Congratulations for such an amazing work.

Delicious food, a hidden gem for sure! Service is a bit slow but it's worth it. definitely will be coming back!

Quesabirrias as show in this picture are amazing ?. My new place in Tacoma to take friends and family from out of town. Cute place, very relaxing vibe.

Welcome to the weird Taco Night Club.... I grew up eating New Mexican food in New Mexico and all I have to say about this place is -Meh- I got the beef tacos and quite frankly the flavor was really lacking- like none. Tacos should pack a flavor punch, but these ones were more like bland beef blobs. I hoped the condiments would provide a little more flavor profile but I was wrong, flavorless cilantro and onions were not very good. The salsas also were weak sauce. I tried to like them but just couldn't. I would have given them a 4 starts for trying, and not making me sick but the store is super friken weird. I felt like I was walking into a night club, club music bumping, the ceilings were really low, and poor ventilation made the place seem really stuffy and weird smelling. I felt like I was eating in my grandma's basement that was converted into a taco night club. I also found the layout very strange as well. Maybe try making your own tacos, for $15....

You do have to pay for parking street parking or the parking garage which I only paid two bucks for. I've been to a few birrieria taco spots and I thought these were great! On top of the esthetic they had super cute and cozy little spot I do wish they were open longer though.
