Patsy's Pizza - Syracuse

Their take on Chicago-style deep dish pizza is not terrible, but it falls far short of the real deal. The crust is quite different; instead of a buttery crust that melts in your mouth, it's just the same crust used for their regular pizzas, merely reshaped like a deep dish. The cheese isn’t too bad, but it still doesn't match the authentic flavor. The biggest disappointment was the tomato topping—completely unlike what you would find in Chicago. Even if you didn't want to use chunks of tomatoes, referring to it as a sauce meant for pasta, like spaghetti sauce, is simply baffling. You wouldn't put pizza sauce on spaghetti, right? Chicago deep dish uses special tomatoes that are roasted and seasoned perfectly so that when they're heated on the pizza, they melt in your mouth and become a delicious pizza sauce. The toppings? Let’s just say they're a weak imitation. So, Patsy's, please consider removing this from your menu ASAP. Your regular pizza is very good—stick with that!

I absolutely love the slice of the month; it's always delicious! The service is quick, making it easy to grab a bite and go. I highly recommend it!

I've been to this restaurant three times, including today, and each time I've enjoyed a fantastic meal. I highly recommend trying the Turkley Club Sub!

The service was not so good by the cashier. She must of been having a bad day. First time there and Patsy was so so sweet, she took our pizza to our table and was such a nice lady. We ordered a buffalo chicken and it was BOMB. Definitely going back if weare in town!

I really enjoy the disc of the month; it's always fantastic! The service is quick, so you can easily get in and out. I highly recommend it!
