Broadway Cafe Arctic Island - Syracuse

I had the chance to watch them make fresh ice cream right in front of me! They also offer smoothies, milkshakes, and water ice. This place isn't inexpensive, but you get what you pay for—quality is never cheap!

The owner, or at least I believe she is, is an incredibly sweet person, so much so that it makes you think she doesn't quite belong in Upstate NY. I really enjoy this place and have been a loyal customer for years. They offer not only ice cream but also surprisingly delicious and healthy hot food, which truly impressed me. I’m giving it 5 stars because I’ve never had a disappointing experience, and I'm always welcomed by friendly staff, no matter who is on duty.

Arctic Island operates as the Broadway Cafe, and they serve fantastic subs. However, they are currently closed for the season due to renovations. I usually feel satisfied after just half a sub, allowing me to save the rest for dinner. Living about a mile away, it’s great to have such a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy my meal.

I’ve been working on Broadway for a few years now, sent here by my boss. Today, while grabbing coffee, some of the guys wanted breakfast burritos and muffin sandwiches. I thought I’d try something different, so I ordered a whole bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. I have to say, I will never buy a breakfast sandwich again! I can’t express how incredible it was!

I've been going to lunch for years. Never disappointed! Waldorf Wrap and Cran Nussalat are my Faves! Everything's delicious. Great selection of food, coffee and ice cream! Also great desserts! Love her! Excellent staff!
