Maybe more…Keep in mind just me and my daughter where there … sure maybe they had to go orders but ice cream shouldn’t take 15 min!And they forgot the PB on a PB sundae?!?! I didn’t complain because I wasn’t gonna wait another 15 or more min for a correct order. My daughter was over it by the time our ice cream was ready and it just seemed very unorganized behind the counter. I also ran into a friend there while waiting since it took so long and as we were leaving she was still waiting for her to go ice cream order which was even more simple than my order.I don’t know if this was a fluke? But I won’t be returning … and this was a huge bummer since when my fam finds a place they love we return often. For $10 I expected an actual sundae not a couple scoops of ice cream with whip cream and nuts. Lesson learned to stick to Handels or Mayberry. Heck DQ would have been better …
Two customers in front of us, both only ordering ice cream. Took us 45 minutes to get two burgers. Now I know why everyone who came after us was ordering hotdogs, as we saw about 4 of those come out before our burgers. Both burgers were basically cooked to a brick-like puck. I’m assuming no one showed the kids how to cook a burger. It really wasn’t busy for a Friday night around 6:30.The ice cream is ok. Handel’s is much better.
I had to call to find out if they were open on sundays. When the kid answered the phone he said just a minute i'll check. He should know the hrs! Wasn t impressed the last 2 times I went..No adults working to help the kids if needed. Its gone downhill since the original Charlie owned it, He was there pretty much every day working with the kids .Only reason Im going back is because my mom likes their burgers and onion rings. If it wasnt for Mothers Day, I wouldnt go back..EVER..on a scale of 1-10.Id give the place a 4
Food is always great the Spinach pie is the best. The breakfast specials are hard to beat for size and price. Service always timely, ambience comfortable not noisy. Believe it or not Charlie is on the job at Dussel Rd., Saturday morning! Enjoy going there, saying a lot of old friends and having breakfast.
We are out of towners here for a band competition. We ordered burgers and chunks, food was good. Went back up to order some ice cream and the lady in charge was to busy talking to the employees we couldn’t get any further service so we left.
