Dalaya Thai Cuisine - Sylva

We've passed by and wanted to try it. We were not disappointed. It's a small and quaint little place with seating outside but we chose to eat indoors. My husband had the pnang curry with shrimp and I had the massaman curry with chicken. I can't tell you which dish was more delicious. We shared a bit because they were both excellent. It was a bit spicy, but that only added to the experience. We also tried the chicken wings and they too were worth having again. We will surely go back.

Love this place! We lived in Thailand for six years and this is some of the best Thai food we have had in the US. During our stay in North Carolina, we ate here three times, it was that good. The catfish and curry are amazing. While the Thai food is fabulous, so is the atmosphere, service, and owners. Don't miss a meal at Dalaya!

This restaurant is exclusively northern Thailand cuisine and the owner is the only cook. Our server was well versed on every dish and the service was excellent. The food quality is five star and is cooked to perfection. Do not hesitate to go here.Vegetarian options: There were a couple of vegetarian options available.

Wife lived in Thailand for a year and said this was the best Thai food she's had stateside. Makes sense since it's authentic. Red curry dish absolutely delicious with the delicious view of the water thoughtfully separated from traffic by a cozy fence. Don't forget the dessert thoughtfully prepared. What a gem of a place! This is some of the best non-traditional Thai food I've ever had! Dalaya is an absolute gem and Sylva is very lucky to have this amazing restaurant.
