Increased taco prices from $1.25 to $2.00 quite a jump real quick for a regular small street taco with no specialty to it whatsoever. Last resort taco stand imo
BOMB Tacos. Can't go wrong ever with Al Pastor if it came from a spit Very friendly staff. Hood location, Central American Southsider Neighborhood so its always been rough around here. Stick with the Pastor unless its fresh. Never get Chicken from a Taco Stand unless its their specialty. That's like an unwritten cardinal rule for Taco Stands Taco Trucks.
I was hyped to try this place since it has good reviews. My experience was not good. I had to wait 10 minutes to order. Confusing, no one's taking my order. The guy took my order and when I was trying to pay, I was shocked. The previous review informed tacos are $1.25, but guess what- it's $2. I had Pastor, Asada and Tripas. The portion was good, but the meats were very chewy, soggy and greasy. And small horchata costs $3(12oz). I can get a full bottle at a local grocery market for $3.75. They didn't even have limes nor the salsa. The guacamole salsa sauce had freaking hair inside. I'm never coming back to this place. First and done.
Every time I want to take a picture of my tacos al pastor to post with a review, I forget because I 'm too busy devouring them. They are seriously THAT delicious! The perfect ratio of pineapple to meat. And at $1.25 a taco and $1 dollar sodas?! You can 't go wrong. They also have a variety of different condiments and salsas to choose from. Customize your tacos to be as spicy or mild as you want 'em to be. There is typically a bit of a line, but that 's only because these tacos are always so fresh that they 're worth the wait. There is also no where to sit, but these tacos are worth standing around or sitting in your car for. Do yourself a favor and try these out. You won 't be disappointed!
