Ocean Foods - Sydney

The seafood was enjoyable, and the fish and chips were tasty, although not particularly remarkable. The lobster roll was quite nice. The Greek salad was good, but a bit pricey. Additionally, the paper underneath the seafood got very soggy, causing the fish and chips to come into contact with the table.

Excellent and friendly service and great value for money. The fried seafood platter for two was enough to feed the three of us and good quality fish. I was going to order the prawn and avocado salad but the friendly lady let me know that was most expensive and suggested a lower-cost alternative, which I really appreciated!! Quite a generous pour of red wine topped off a great experience.

Rating: 4.5 Stars. This restaurant boasts a lovely atmosphere, outstanding produce, delicious flavors, and friendly service. While a fish and chip shop can only be so remarkable, I can see why this one is considered one of the best in Sydney. The overall quality and ambiance are impressive, and the food is quite delightful. I'm eager to return and sample other menu items, like the Lobster Mornay. My only concern is the pricing; I’m not entirely convinced that the value for money is there on many items, although the high food quality nearly compensates for that.

If you love seafood, this is the place to go. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and they are the best in town.
