Adria Bar Restaurant - Sydney

Nice outdoor dining surrounded by other restaurants. A bit touristy but not terrible. Waiters were fine, not amazing. Food was solid.

We had an amazing experience with fantastic food and a wonderful atmosphere! They had a reserved table for us right at the front and even accepted a North American phone number for our reservation. It was delightful to be in Darling Harbour! Since it was quite chilly outside, we decided to pay at the till instead of waiting for the bill to arrive at our table.

Outstanding service, incredible atmosphere, and the food was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it!

The starters included crispy octopus, calamari, lamb skewers, prawns, dips, and bread, all of which were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a glass of wine to complement the meal. A big thank you to Adria and our wonderful waiter, Cash. I highly recommend this RedBalloon Experience, as well as the two restaurants, and waitstaff, Cash and Kelli.

Definitely a place to steer clear of! The chips are labeled as gluten-free on the menu, but that’s misleading—they're not gluten-free at all. Everything is served with fried sweet potato shavings, which also contain gluten. I had to return my meal after informing them I have celiac disease, despite the waitress checking with the kitchen about what was safe. The only reason I managed to avoid a severe reaction is that I always ask questions and never fully trust the menu!
