Smitty's Swift Current

I had a wonderful dinner with my family, thanks to the fantastic staff who took such great care of us. I really appreciate their all-day breakfast menu. They also provide high chairs at the entrance for families, making it very accommodating. Overall, it's a very kid-friendly place!

The new location at Wheatland Mall is very comfortable and nicely decorated, featuring plenty of TVs for watching your favorite sports. The staff is friendly and courteous. My breakfast was excellently prepared. There is great seating available, along with ample parking for both large and small vehicles. I definitely recommend it!

The food is good and served fairly quickly. As it's a chain, you can count on consistent meal quality, even if you're dining in a different city.

I had bacon and eggs and my wife had the lunch combo with the 1/2 clubhouse and veg beef soup. The breakfast here is the best I've had anywhere! Shredded hasbrowns are nice and crispy, bacon is cooked to perfection. Toast was so fluffy and tasted great dunked in those eggs cooked just the way I like them! The half club was great with lots of turkey and bacon perfect size for lunch. Beef soup loaded with big chunks of meat, potatoes and veg. Service was amazing even though it was busy.

Smitty 's had consistently good service in their old location but the new location has been a disappointment every time we 've gone for breakfast in the morning. The food has been good but the servers have been disinterested, absent, and rude.When they first opened, our server was obviously sick (constant sniffling and coughing) which was disgusting. We were accidently seated in a regulars table and asked to move. We were reseated in another regulars table asked to move once again by a different server which we did without complaint.Another time, there were only two tables filled but no one came around to give us the bill. We waited over 15 minutes for a server to come past, then decided to walk up to the front hoping someone would see us. The server suddenly appeared and accused us of trying to walk out without paying.Our most recent experience was just as disappointing. We ordered coffee but the server forgot to bring mugs when she brought the coffee pot. We asked for mugs and she said she would be right back. After waiting 15 minutes, no server had been in our section so we walked over to another table that had clean mugs and used them. Our food finally came but they forgot to bring syrup. Again, no server came to check how the first few bites were and we didn 't see a server for over 15 minutes so we ate our breakfast without syrup.Every time we 've gone, the servers haven 't been friendly or inviting and the service has been poor. We have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and been polite, but we will not be going back. I would not recommend anyone go to Smitty 's in the morning.
