Koornlands - Swellendam

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Koornlands. The chef and owner, a delightful and friendly Dutch woman, took the time to chat with us since we were the only guests that evening. For starters, we shared a crocodile carpaccio, which was delicious. For our main courses, my girlfriend chose the tagliatelle springbok ragout, which was very flavorful, while I opted for a tasting plate featuring three different meats: ostrich, springbok, and warthog. All three were fantastic and packed with flavor! If you’re looking to experience authentic African cuisine, we highly recommend this place!

What a perfect evening at Koornlands. We had a wonderful dinner with Kudu Carpaccio and the Springbok loin. Also with a wine. Ver tasty and helpful service when ordering. My recommendation for this lovely restaurant.

The food including the whole place is amazing. Can‘t give anything else than five stars.
