Must have been a bad day there?!? Took a long time to come, card machine playing up, flies I saw were walking over the quiches in the counter. It was a hot day, but they can still be covered up like other places do. Sorry, but that wasn 't Pad Thai! More like a Welsh equivalent and call it Bad Dai Firstly used the wrong noodles, more like cut up very soft spaghetti, not much of it too. A very few stems of beansprout, think a very tiny bit of tomato ketchup cooked in to give it an Asian taste?!?! Then most of it was a stir fry veg with no taste. The peanuts are dried, crunched and added to the top later, but this dish had full stir fried in much softer (old? peanuts thrown in when cooking. I don 't think this person has had pad thai before to see how wrong it is. I had to leave it, as it just wasn 't nice. Friendly enough staff at the till though, so I 'll give another star. For the eggs on fried potato, fried potato was ok, but probably upgrade the eggs as they were bland. Thought I had COVID for one minute for lack of taste, but no, popped in for something to eat a few doors away. If the chef reads this, DO NOT TAKE IT AS BAD, take it as constructive criticism!!! Go try Pad Thai other places, and ask them what they do. They won 't mind... Again, I 'm sorry as I cannot go back after that visit, but I always wish any business luck for the future, as I do realize it is hard.

Had a lovely brunch in Crumbs Kitchen. Food was lovely, and reasonably priced. We had the vegetarian burrito which came with a choice of up to three fillings and the tuna melt as a toastie. Food came quickly, staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was good. Would definitely come here again.

I ordered a chilli. 25 minutes later they had served people who came in after me but no sign of my chilli. I went to the desk and asked to cancel my order. They tried to refund my card £8.90 but when I checked my bank account I found they’d simply charged me twice. I went back to the cafe and complained. The youngster in charge had to phone his boss. He offered me a cash refund of £17.40 and I had to ask for the remaining 40 pence. Altogether the service was worse than terrible. And the cafe seems to be staffed with children!

A great corner cafe, serving vegetarian and gluten-free options. Great cakes too! The staff were friendly and efficient, and had a wealth of local knowledge for the enquiring visitors. A favourite place with locals, no doubt, and the flat white to finish? That was perfect too...
