Plough And Harrow - Swansea

Wanted somewhere other than McD's to take my year old Grandson for tea. I use the pub sometimes for a quick pint after a hard day and find the people there friendly. Had the Kids Meal and a burger for me he kids meal...was devoured and I thoroughly enjoyed the chips that came with the tasty burger. Not many other Diners and cannot understand why. Reasonably value, tasty food and good service was my experience.

Went for lunch after xmas shopping and thought I would try this place. Had a good name back in the day so visited again but failed to live up to past ventures. Steak cold chips not good . Pepper sauce was very weak too. Peas...and garlic bread was nice though. Partner had scampi and chips and wasn't impressed either. Not many people in there. This probably tells why. Will be a long time before I come back.

Really don't bother with eating here. Pie was grisly and fatty, soggy chewy pastry, tinned grey mushrooms apparently they had run out of veg but forgot to mention it. Lumpy gravy more like wall paper paste. Curry with microwave rice, greasy poppadom, awful experience ,...shame because the young bar staff were fine, the place was nice, but if thats homecooked food it was a joke. Complained to head office as really sub standard for a marstons pub.

I came for a spot of lunch and what service and the food was amazing. Great discounts and great atmosphere

I have been going to The Plough for years and I must say, since the new landlady took over, she and her staff have done an amazing job. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend it.
