Brewers Fayre Swansea Vale

Has to be said, will never attend this place again. Three in our party. Two days ago. The place was freezing with ceiling mounted air conditioning blowing out uncomfortable chilled air (10 degrees outside). Staff member assured us it would be turned down, however there was still cold blasts throughout our stay. Prawn cocktail starter no taste, menu stated served with 'granery ', which was one thinest slice of white bread pulled from a cheap supermarket loaf, same for my Tomato soup. Pointed out to very young male waiter who eventually brough us one slice of granary between two of us. I had a 'smothered ' grill. Chips were red hot (too hot to eat) so obviously fresh out the pan. Chicken Goujons were cold with an insipid piece of fatty undercooked bacon on top with cold melted cheese, Gammon was cold, Pineapple ring had been heated on a griddle that hadn 't been cleaned of it 's dirty discoloured oil and tasted foul. Steak was cold. Onion rings were cold. Didn 't complain at time I my companions already had their main meal. Two nearest tables to us complained they had been waiting over 30 mins for their starters. Hey ho they were delivered immediately, having obviously been hanging around in the kitchen, Poor service. My two companions had identical Fish and Chips, which at the time seemed to be ok. However next day both of them came down with severe upset stomachs, and still have the same symtoms on day three. Not a lot of people in he place so no excuse for poor service to us and others. Really not good enough, need to get their act together. will not return. No loss to us.

The Staff were great, polite and courteous. Plus the food was very tasty. Unfortunately the overall cleanest was porthole shaped, meaning the corners of carpet/floor covering were dirty in the corners. The use of beermats to prop doors open, then left shredded, is unsightly. The toilet was smelly and also not cleaned properly. But the main problem was the price. Two soft drinks Portion of onion rings Two Vegan burger meals. Coming out at £30.00 is too much. As if you look at meal deals it looks like we are paying for them. Sorry thank you Regards Jeff

For the price and quality I would avoid at all cost! Had 7 once gammon but it was more like a 3 once! Cold chips not lots. **** garlic bread with daughters food! £2,00 odd for tiny fruit shoot, **** service, tiny childrens desserts, still hungry after paying £22.00 for one adult and child, don't bullsh__t me about fantastic meals in this cost of living crisis! It also cost £4.50 to play in the **** childrens play zone for 90mins! A total rip off!

Good value for money and plenty of choice. Visited here with friends and had a lovely time. Thank you x

Had a really nice meal here with my family!the menu had something for everyone and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the meal. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
