The Anchor Inn - Swanage

Very good meal, lovely beer batter on the fish. Good atmosphere.

Recently had dinner in the anker during our stay in the queue, and to say I was impressed by an understatement. the menu was varied, with vegan options. I had the booze of the pig, and it was not only cooked to perfection, but also beautifully presented. I wouldn't call this a pub bureau, because the quality of food was far beyond it. also the table staff, which was very attentive, has pointed marks. my new way to eat whenever I'm next in scandal. highly recommended.

This is a old fashioned and traditional pub on the outside but with a surprisingly bright, modern and spacious interior. It is an pleasant spot for a drink with friends and also serves excellent food. It's a popular spot so advance booking for meals is definitely a good idea.

Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and lovely food.

Been to Swanage many times and never fancied going into this pub. However noticed it had changed hands last year. So.we decided to have dinner and a few drinks. What a cosy, chilled and pleasant atmosphere it now has. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff and service was excellent and prices were what you would expect. Would definitely recommend the Anchor and we will return.
