Love Cake Etc - Swanage

We visited for the first time on Wednesday with some friends and will definitely return on our next trip to Swanage. The cakes were gorgeous—my husband had the chocolate cake, while I enjoyed the lemon and blueberry. They were so delicious that I can't wait to try more next time. Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Brunch.

Didn 't get a great vibe from this place. The cake and coffee were okay but very overpriced. It was boiling hot as well, with tables cramped next to each other. Staff were also a lot more friendly and attentive towards locals/regulars than non locals. We were obvious out of towners and found the service quite cold. When we entered, we waited a while to be acknowledged by staff. When they finally did, they didn 't greet us or crack a smile when we greeted them. Then as we left, we were shocked by the fact a blonde waitress/staff member with short hair abruptly shut the door behind us. No goodbye or thank you , just unwarranted rudeness. An earlier review on here mentions a rude staff member I wouldn 't be surprised if it was the same woman

Called in with my friend for a slice of cake and a drink. I had the passionfruit raspberry and white cocolate cake and my friend had the hummingbird cake. Both cakes were absolutely beautiful so soft and moist and full of flavour. Staff were absolutely lovely and the venue was clean and very cute. They also have a fabulous selection of condiments to buy and I ended up spending a fortune on some really amazing dips, chutneys and drizzles. Which I'm very much looking forward to trying. Parking: Nearest parking is a little way away Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it didn't appear to be wheelchair accessible. As there was quite a few steps.

Well what can I say.cozy setting, awesome afternoon teaamazing staff we visit this place yearly around December time. This year we took along out GSD Rocky who is 7mths old and he was a instant hit with the staff and customers x see you next year ladies Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

There are the most delicious and amazing selections of cakes and scones. The portions are a good size. The taste of the items is delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly. As well as cakes there are salads, toasted sandwiches, brunch and breakfast choices, but for me the best thing was the cakes Vegetarian options: There are also gluten free cakes and tarts Service: Dine in
