The batter was very flavorful. My friend had the special which was a veal cutlet w linguini. Overall, great service and atmosphere.
One of our usual restaurants was closed for the day, so we tried this restaurant for lunch. Our hunch is that this restaurant is a favorite for a beer and meal after skiing. We were the oldest people in the restaurant. You walk through the door and the hostess greets you and seats you. There are multiple rooms in which to dine snd we chose the main room. Our waitress smiled and was very friendly and helpful in selecting beers and a meal. We chose and IPA and felt it had a great taste. My wife had the cheeseburger bebop and I had the shredded ham burger. Our waitress was busy when our food was ready, so the guy who cooked it brought it to our table. My wife said her cheeseburger was was cooked perfectly and tasted great. My sandwich was similar to a pulled pork sandwich with a ham tase. There was a sauce that I could not identify. I thought my sandwich has a great flavor. This was a nice lunch. We will definitely return he
Stopped in for a cold beer on a hot day and was very impressed with the selection of house beer. Server was happy to answer all our French to English translation questions and two out of three of us settled on beer and the other tried the house G&T (gin and tonic). Beers, both IPAs, were stellar and exactly as described. The G&T needed some work and didn't have the signature flavors we were used to but was still a good cocktail. Side note: we had our dog with us and the servers brought out a nice big bowl of cold water for him without our even having to ask!
I'm going to leave 4 stars but I'm struggling on whether they deserve a 3? How much weight does food have? I guess I'll leave 4 for now and let you judge based on my review. So first restaurant experience since covid19 has been in our lives. We were in Sutton for a hike for Father's Day and naturally parched after our walk. We walked in here around 230pm and were greeted with a hostess with a face shield. She asked us if we had symptoms, offered us purel and off we went to our table. They had sr codes on the table to scan to check out the menu. The one on our table was basically all scratched off so we had to google the menu. Fine no issues I ordered the forestier burger by husband the bibop I think it was and I got my daughter the fried chicken kid meal. There was a tofu burger or cheese burger option. The fried chicken was awful, it tasted only like turmeric which wasn't pleasant. My daughter barely touched it. My burger was charcoal burnt. I had to send it back and they changed it and apologized but come on. When you take the bread off the grill, won't you notice how burnt it is as a cook? My husbands meal was satisfactory I'm glad it was as it was Father's Day after all. For the price we paid 18 19$ per burger it didn't live up to it's hype. I'm sure the beer collection is decent but I'm not a big drinker so I wouldn't know any better. I don't think I'd return..
