I had a terrible experience this morning with breakfast. The food was either overcooked, undercooked, or cold, and the service was subpar. This is a slight improvement from my previous visits where most menu items were unavailable. It's disappointing to see this cafe decline in quality. I will be avoiding eating here in the future.
I wasn't able to order the dish I wanted, so I ended up just getting a coffee. The table I was seated at was dirty with plates from the previous customer. The waitress had time to chat with a colleague but didn't bother to clean our table or check on us. It was not a pleasant experience.
Awful experience! Stood at till for nearly 5mins before the women even tried to serve me as she was too busy chatting to a friend and then. they have food advertised on the menus behind the till and when you go to order the women serving you has to check every single time and most of the stuff I asked for they didn’t have or couldn’t sell because of allergies! The look I got when I asked for fish and chips and said normal peas as it’s advertised with both it was like I should of known they didn’t have peas! when questioned why it’s still on the menu the women just kept repeating because of allergies, in any right mind you would remove from menu??!! I’m very shocked with the service this is my third time coming here and last two times when the young lady who normally works is excellent but this older lady was shocking The drinks from the fridge are warm and I have on two occasions before been given ice and a glass but when I asked this time I was told straight away we do not do anything like that and the fridge is broken so you will just have to drink them like that again I informed the women I’ve been given glasses with ice again and was told it wasn’t from here! this lady really needs to be trained on how to speak to people so last time I’ll be coming here
From 3 boards of choices to eat there was only the choice of toasties and then only 2 of them. Why doesn’t someone with an ounce of business sense sort this place out? Not the first time I’ve been let down here with we’ve run out of this, that and the other. If only there was a source of replacement missing food nearby!?!?!
