GTS Thai Kitchen - Surry Hills

There are numerous pubs clustered together in Surry Hills, and by coincidence, this pub is situated on a corner alongside four other pubs.

It appears that GTs, The Madison, and Central Hotel are all owned by the same company, Thomas Hotels. This means that you can enjoy $5 beers (on tap and select imported options) all day long at these establishments!

On Saturday, August 27th, 2016, around 5:20 pm, I attempted to visit this restaurant for a social gathering with others. However, there was a booked event taking place.

When there are Thais in a Thai restaurant it's a good sign - love their Pad Thai with peanuts and Tofu

Well, considering there are literally 10 other pubs in really close proximity to this one, it probably has to really stand out to make an impression. Unfortunately this one really don't get anywhere close. Okay, it isn't a bad pub (I did give it three stars) and the owners are really friendly, however it wasn't really one of those places that really sticks in my memory (since there are multiple other pubs that seem to be crowding it out). While I didn't mind the place, I do find it difficult to make it stand out.
