The clayton public house - Surrey

I had a fantastic experience at Clayton House. It was my first time there on Wednesday. I started with hot wings and a side of blue cheese dip, which were very delicious! Our server was very friendly and always ready to serve us more food and drinks. They had a special on a crab and prawn combo, which I just had to try. It was so good that I ended up ordering another one! As someone who catches my own fresh Dungeoness crab every year, I was impressed by the quality of the crab they served me. The claws and legs had plenty of meat, and the prawns were cooked perfectly without becoming rubbery. I am definitely planning on going back and inviting all of my friends. I love this place!

I visited Clayton for the first time on Saturday with my sister and a friend. It was a great experience! Even though it was packed, we ended up sitting at the bar and stayed for 5 hours. The environment was fantastic, the bartenders were amazing, we never had to wait long for another drink, and the food was exceptional! The coconut prawns were the best I've ever had. I would go back just for the prawns alone, but everything was great. I have definitely found my new favorite hangout spot.

Awesome friendly service. We took advantage of happy hour bevies then enjoyed the $6.00 fish chips offered Thursday’s after 5! They were fabulous and the portion was generous with 2 nice sized pieces of fish. Will definitely return for this.

Service was great, food was delicious, drinks went down nicely, called on a Thursday to book my friends stag for Saturday, came in Saturday greeted instantly, had our area set up, never went a min waiting for food or drinks, honestly the best server I've ever had, have to hand it to her for dealing with a bunch up guys she was amazing. Would definitely come back for future events! If you haven't experienced a good professional atmosphere then you need to go there!

Just ordered from them through skip the dishes and the food that came was not the greatest. I called and spoke with the manager and right away he was very sorry and asked what he could do. I said I don't want my money back. He said can I offer you something else? I did order something else and he came and delivered it personally and the food was amazing! He also gave me gift certificates valued to the amount I spent. Very impressed with this customer service!!!!
