Large and innovative kitchen, but the portions were small and the prices were extremely high. I get them to be a byo and have to make their food.
For the first time revitalized place from a reason eating was amazing the apps were amazing and my salmon input was fantastic desserts were also great.
The signature dish, No1 Yellowfin Rare seared tuna slices, is a standout since 1997. It is served over Yukon potatoes with Wasabi, flash fried Bok Choy, and a drizzle of miso vinaigrette. Another favorite is the pan-seared Halibut with sticky rice, garlic braided Yucca, and a lemon preserve demi glaze. The panko crusted peas Fried green tomatoes with guacamole and lobster-Jumbo lumpen crab salad is also a must-try. The restaurant has an upscale ambiance, with white tablecloths and experienced servers who are knowledgeable about the menu. Reservations are essential, especially during high season. The interior is elegantly decorated in grey tones with mirrors to enhance the visual space. It is a smaller venue, suitable for intimate gatherings or romantic dinners. Yellowfin is a place to enjoy with adult friends or a significant other, rather than with children or for a quick meal after the beach. The prices reflect the quality of the food, with appetizers ranging from $16-$28 and entrees from $28-$75. It is a worthwhile dining experience that is reminiscent of a Manhattan hotspot in Soho or the Upper West Side.
I had another fantastic experience at Yellowfin! Jackie and Blake, as always, provided excellent service. It's a great way to kick off the season. I've been coming here for 10 years and it's still the best restaurant on Long Beach Island!
