Italian 101 Lounge - Sunny Isles Beach

My husband and I are visiting Sunny Isles for the first time, and we were searching for a romantic Italian restaurant. Google recommended 101 Italian, which has a 4.5-star rating. I really appreciated how easy it was to make a reservation on their website. So far, this has been the best meal of our trip! My husband ordered the Chilean Seabass Francese, which he declared the best he’s ever had. My Chicken Francese with a side of broccoli rabe was fantastic as well. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding; our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We shared a generous piece of Tiramisu for dessert, which was delicious, and the restaurant even treated us to a side of Sambuca! Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we highly recommend this restaurant!

It took a long time to reach someone on the phone. I paid $31 for a large serving tray of chicken marsala, which is supposed to serve 3-4 people, but I only received about three small chicken cutlets. You can do the math on that. The portions were disappointing, and the prices were excessive. I would never order from them again.

The food is truly outstanding, especially for an Italian from New York. The service deserves more than five stars. The owner and all the staff are incredibly friendly and make sure you have an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place if you're in Miami!

The food was great! The pasta was cooked al dente, exactly as it should be. The bartender provided excellent service. I ordered the veal pizzaiola, and the veal was incredibly tender. The portions were generous as well.
