Palace Pool Deck Restaurant And Snack Bar

The Environment setting is gorgeous. The Two Barmen (I will not mention names)at the Pool Bar today are really unegaging, uninterested towards patrons. It is 17:10 they really seem as if they would rather be somewhere else. Sun City is a tourist iconic attraction in SA despite the below average service now, I will definitely recommend a visit there. My rating is purely based on my experience service today Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 250–300 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Oh no! I would not recommend eating here at all. The worst pizza I have ever seen and tasted, and at an exorbitant cost. The toppings were non-existent and there was so much cheese it was just a greasy mess. So disappointed!

Again crazy bad service at the pool deck coupled with the worst ever tasting badly presented sugar syrup pretending to be a Pinacolade are the little things that makes one wonder if it's really worth the effort to go to Sun City. The manager told us after we asked him to sip the bland looking ungarnished Pinacolade's that his top manager knows about all the complaints but they refuse to go fresh or replace the sugar syrup. They don't ad one fresh fruit or coconut milk in their coctails. Really sad. The photo of the Pinacolade tells the story.

I ordered a quick lunch before doing a presentation. My first choice was a Parma Ham dish I was advised that they had none. I then ordered a nicoise salad. Service was good and it arrived quickly. It was completely boring, tasteless, unimaginative. My husband had a ceasar salad and his comments were no better than mine.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a way to celebrate the Induction Function of #ChainedesRotisseurs #BailliagedePretoria! We experienced an island festival with an insane seafood spread and cocktails. Yet again, the Palace-team outdid themselves. Incredible job from Nicholas Forsythe. Chef Nicholas Froneman. Crawford Day. Chef Ricardo Nomdoe. Patrick Fisher. Johan Scheepers. Nico Myburgh. Peter Robertson. Shaun Meintjies. Sean Mann. And a special mention to Brandon Govender (for running around during the event) and Liesel Isaacs (for the mails and organising). We felt incredibly special and taken care of. 10/10 for all of you!
