Sumter Original Brewery

What a great find! We were vacationing in Santee, looking for a fun way to spend an evening and found Sumter Original Brewery. We sampled several beer, enjoying them all. The Peach Bum sour tasted like a fresh peach. Frito pie was sooo good! Highlyrecommend.

This venue is fantastic, spanning three levels with a lovely rooftop view. However, I do have a couple of criticisms regarding the menu and the service. All orders are placed at the bar, with no table service available. The menu is quite limited and could use more options. If you're looking for a full meal, I would recommend going elsewhere. However, if you’re in the mood for beer and some pub snacks, this is a great spot. It seems that if they expanded the food offerings and introduced table service, it could easily become the best place in Sumter.

The staff offers outstanding service, and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. The snack and meal menus now feature a wider variety than before, and the taste has significantly improved.

As a Sumter native, I truly appreciate this brewery. It's an essential part of our town. Without getting into too much detail, there are countless ways to manage closing time. Unfortunately, the bartender's girlfriend handled it quite poorly. Just a heads up. Sorry for the "Karen" moment.
