フィードバックを提供するOk service but everything else was mediocre. The kitchen got the order wrong. Tried to make up for the decent food by offering portions which will last for 2-3 days or feed an army. $120 for 1 adult and 3 kids (no drinks) is a bit steep as well. Won’t come back.
Top 3 burgers I’ve had. Ever. Bartender was very helpful and nice.
Under staffed. The poor employees looked stressed and apologized to us a few times. It took 45 min to get a drink and I had to get up and go to the bar. I know it’s tough to get people, but their management needs to step up and do something. Many people simply got up and left.
Only recently post-pandemic, like many other restaurants, The Hat is understaffed for the demand (which remains below profitable levels for the hotel The Hat is in). But once seated, the staff is very pleasant and doing its best … and that counts for a lot under tough business conditions.
Menu is limited but the food was good. Service was slow and servers were not friendly or add anything to the dinner. We had to solicit assistance as no one checked in or was around on the patio to help. It would have been more understandable if the restaurant was busy but only half the tables were occupied. Patio is adjacent to the parking lot and could use some greenery or other screening to add to the ambiance.
