Slaughter's Bbq Oasis - Sulphur Springs

I had to travel to the Ford dealer in Sulphur Springs around noon and was delighted to stumble upon Slaughter's BBQ. After reading about it in Texas Monthly, we decided to give it a try. We sampled all three sauces - original, sweet tangy, and spicy - and found them all to be delicious. The crawfish cornbread and beans were a satisfying meal on their own, and we finished off with a scrumptious banana pudding. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent.

I found today slaughter’s bbq oasis on google when I traveled back to dfw. my father drove the rv and had a little annoyed to find the place. (by fix and food and chaneys tabak). my man and I lived in austin and would travel to lockhart for the grill. slaughter’s is the hand to north texas. I'll be honest and say I prefer slaughters. the cancer maisbrot is amazing, I also loved the beans. large ripening, pulled boar, sausage, but the damp brisket is where it is. slaughter even has its own sauce! we're coming back. definitiw with others. P.S look at the oreo bananenpudding! edit. the owner (manager was super friendly! extra edit. a lot of space for a rv plus train a vehicle.

This has to be the best bbq in East Texas. I went there with a large group of out-of-towners and slaughters showed them why texas is known for bbq. Brisket is top notch and those ribs will change you're life
