Foxy's - Suite C Montrose

Last night, my husband and I found Foxy 's on Google search for restaurants in Glendale on our way home from Pasadena. The description of the place sounded good, so we tried it. First time to visit...LAST TIME TO VISIT! We arrived at 8:15, closing time was 9:00. So, we knew we had to order promptly and did! Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. As she served us our salads which come with each sandwich order, the hell began! As we took the first bite of our salads, a waft of cleaning disinfectant fill the whole restaurant! We were taken aback! An employee was already moping the floors for their closing in 1/2 hour with customers still TRYING to enjoy their meals! As the first waft of cleaning smell began to ease up some, ANOTHER waft came slapping us in our nostrils as our sandwiches were served! Nothing like trying to eat a Patty Melt with a nose full of the smell of lysol! I was furious! Usually, I would have gone to the head waitress/owner? to complain, but I just wanted this experience over with! Plus, how was she gonna do anything about the smell at that point. Then, a different employee walked out to our dining area carrying a vacuum cleaner!! He didn 't start it, but paced impatiently around it while staring at us as if to say get the hell outta here so I do my job! My husband and I have both been waiters. We a fully aware that as the closing of the kitchen nears, waiters have 'sides ' to do or closing cleanup before they can go home! Never were allowed to start moping floors or vacuuming as customers ate! If you ever venture to go to Foxy 's, never go even an hour before closing. Yelp states that their closing time is 8pm. Google 's stated 9pm. We were welcomed at 8:15 by the staff with no problem! If they had indeed closed by 8pm, why did they allow us in? Overall experience was horrible!

I have been coming to Foxy's for many,many years.The Food is always Great no matter what you choose .!!?The service is excellent !!!

The apple pie is outstanding. My waitress was exceptionally fast, even the bus-boy was very nice. Parking: Have a lot in the back, too.

Love it here. Good food, friendly staff and great indoor and outdoor seating options with ample parking.

Highly recommend this spot. Great food, excellent service, and reasonable prices.
