フィードバックを提供するI have ate here before a few times, and I've always felt the food was ok, nothing outstanding but filling and decent. It's not the first thing I think of for lunch, but it's something along the middle of the list. I always get the chicken kabob here, and they would let me substitute the salad with the hummus, so that is nice. The tzatziki sauce that comes with the chicken kabob makes the kabob tasty tasty! For about $13-$14, the chicken kabob plate (with hummus) makes for a good lunch meal but somewhat pricey. It's a nice, spacious restaurant that has two sides so if you don't like one section, there is the other section. It's never hard to find a seat whenever I was there. The only complaint is that one time I came before, and the chicken kabobs were really burnt and hard to chew. That time was on a weekend with two or three customers early morning. Anyhow, despite that, I would definitely come back sometime in the future again for lunch.
I love a good mediterranean restaurant. I thought Red Oak Grill was fine not fantastic. I ordered the vegetarian platter and lentil soup, the host said wow you're hungry SHADE! . I WAS hungry: Their hummus tasted very fresh and I'm a fan. The spinach pie was a lil cold and dry with no cheese. They spinach filling was flavor packed but doesn't a spinach pie normally have feta? I would come back again if I needed a quick lunch but I thought it was a bit pricey for just veggies $20 .
On this episode of finding vegan/vegetarian food, I ventured here tonight just on a whim while staying in the extended stay up the road. It was empty when I walked in around 6:15(ish)pm, so I had the place to myself. The ambiance was nice. There's plenty of seating so you can definitely bring a few guests with you. The cashier was patient while I looked over the menu to decide what I wanted. I ordered the veggie gyro that came with peppers, mushrooms, avocado, and onions paired with fries and a spinach pie. The food was AMAZING!!! Nice quantity/quality for the price which was not expensive at all. They have deserts and plenty of menu choices, even a kids section. This is a nice place to go to for a lunch or dinner date. Totally a cutesy place in the cut located in the back of the shopping plaza and even has outside dining too. I would definitely return. I work down the street so maybe lunch and try the veggie burger next!!
Pita fish wrap (7/10): Fried or grilled catfish with shredded cabbage and tartar sauce generously drizzled all over. The wrap is HUGE so it should make you feel full. The tartar sauce that they use tasted different in a good way. Either it's a better brand or maybe it's a homemade sauce. The fish was perfectly crispy and was not soggy at all. You can add fries and a drink for about $3.49 extra. The fries were mediocre and wasn't salted at all. Anyway, this addition made my lunch total come out to be a whopping $13.08. I won't be venturing to this place on my own but I don't mind coming here again with my co workers. Customer service: You pay for your food first then you go seat yourself. They bring you the food and that's pretty much it. They might come to check on you maybe once?
Good solid food. We saw the Yelp reviews of this place and headed over to find it. It is most definitely hidden at the back of the parking lot. They are only open until 9pm, so don't procrastinate about dinner like we often do. The cashier/server/everything guy was friendly. They have a mix of Mediterranean and American food. I got a deluxe chicken sandwich (cheese, cooked onions, mayo) which was quite good. It's too bad the fries were extremely salty. My husband got a chicken shawarma which he enjoyed quite a bit. His fries were also very salty. Our food was served to us piping hot! There is a self service soda fountain to get as much as you want. The restaurant is very clean and the cashier guy was cleaning and busing tables as we ate. He seems to do everything, and I would be surprised if he owned the place or was at least the manager. There were also several desserts to choose from, of which we didn't partake this time. We saw Napoleon, Baklava, Petit Fours, carrot cake, and German Chocolate Cake. I'd definitely go back, I'd just avoid the fries or ask for them with no salt.
