My niece introduced me to your bakery with your exquisite petit fours, and they are absolutely delightful! Last week, we celebrated a birthday with cakes you made, and I can honestly say I’m at a loss for words to describe how amazing they were. Your creations are simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Although your bakery is 40 miles away, you are the only one on our radar!

The best sugar cookies I've ever had! They strike the perfect balance between frosting and cookie, and they're not overly sweet.

As a proud New Orleans native, I can confidently say that this place serves the best king cake!

Good. First and foremost, I am great in customer service and good results. I write this review to praise Maureen and her bakery for a job. About two weeks ago I ordered custom online) a cake for my second wedding day. Maureen called on the same day to tell me that some of my decisions were "for good reason not possible" and made suggestions to me. I told her I'd meet in person so that we can really pull out the details, and she was more than ready. I came to Maureen 's Bakery at 5530 W. Grand Parkway South; Richmond, TX. 77406 and was greeted by Maureen, himself. I wanted a cake, similar to my wedding cake, in color and taste. So I chose a 10-serving round cake with turquoise buttercream, almond cake and gooseache filling. Maureen said she would decorate it with swirls and flowers; it sounded perfect. I asked her if I could pay in advance and agreed. I expected a half-sized blow for such an opulent cake, but when she gave me the total $30.00) I was unbelievable. On the day I wanted to pick up the cake, Maureen called me and told me that she was insecure about the flower color... regarding the aesthetics of the cake. I agreed and asked her to use a pink. She replied: 'oh good, pink is good '. At 15:00, I went to the bakery to get the cake and was amazed by its beauty. The Buttercream was perfect almost ailing fondant) and the flowers, designs and news were ALMOST too nice to eat. When my husband came home, I showed him our wedding cake 're-do' and he was amazed. He asked me if I was as much as our wedding cake and I laughed... no. After dinner we returned home to the feast on the cake. Oh, my God, it was delicious. The almond cake was beautiful, light and airy. The chocolate garnish filling was thick and rich, not cheap made), and the butter cream frosting was heavenly. My husband made a comment on how well joined by hand) the cake was and took several pictures for memories. I HIGHLY recommend Maureen 's Bakery for anyone who wants to make a celebration special. I'll spread the work and give her my business for years because she deserves it!

Absolutely wonderful. We needed a cake in a hurry for the weekend. Maureen's assistant and herself were knowledgeable and patient. Very calm and helped us make the best decision for our party guest size. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a personalized cake for small or big parties. The icing was perfect and the cake itself was dazzling. I am thankful for their help and will definitely be back soon.
