Kolache Factory - Sugar Land

Was my first time at a Kolachi Factory and personally the taste does not justify the pricing.

Delicious Treats! Their kolaches are unique because they are made with round rolls. They offer over ten varieties, and each one is fantastic. When we first moved here, we had them for our first meal, and we fell in love right away. That love has stayed strong ever since. The whole wheat kolaches are just as good as the regular ones. The coffee is excellent too. Don’t miss out— you won’t be disappointed!

I had my first American Kolache and tried one with peach filling. It's more similar to a bun or bagel than a donut, as they are baked rather than fried. While they are about the same calorie count, they contain less fat. However, they don't quite capture the authenticity of traditional Czech Kolaches. This is a local bakery chain that offers a variety of other pastries and savory options as well. The service is quick and efficient, and there's parking available on-site.

I ordered the potato and cheese dish, but I didn't quite recognize it when it arrived, as there were several other ingredients in it that weren't mentioned on the menu. I expressed my confusion to the lady at the counter, and she reassured me that it was indeed the potato dish I ordered. She then kindly prepared a fresh one for me. Overall, I appreciated the care taken and look forward to returning!
