Freebirds World Burrito - Sugar Land

Let me start off by saying, I eat Mexican food daily, and I mean daily, so I know my food. I have not had the best experience over the last few places I have eaten that are similar to this, however, this one stands out. Not because of the food per say but because of the customer service. Yesterday was my first time here at the recommendation of a friend and I had not idea what to order. Because I am use to paying extra for anything extra, that is what I expected. Big G: Good evening maam, what can I get you. Me: The bowl and do you have corn tortillas? Big G: Yes maam. Me: How much do you charge per torilla? Big G: Nothing maam, we dont charge for extras, this is not Chipotle! Needless to say, I died laughing. Not only did he not make a big deal of me asking for a little more rice, or corn tortillas, he was friendly and respectful. Harold, who rung up my order was great too. I love spicy sauces, so he combined two sauces for me to try since it was my first time. Now the food isn't spectacular as it is regular pick-your-bowl food but it was good. However, the customer service and attitude made my bowl taste even better. Whoever hired them, good choice. It is now my new spot. It was clean, friendly and I will be back! Parden the picture, I ate before I could take the pic! The only thing I would sub is the spring mix. I will try lettuce next time.

I love the options of food ingredients. 3 guys who work there have always been great to me. The place is a little bit dirty almost every time we go there... But it could be that it is almost night time and they are busy? I know they have options for vegetarians... But do they know how much sodium is on plant based protein? Plus the added ingredients and condiments... Jeez, enough to increase your blood pressure.

Freebirds is consistently excellent with a very friendly staff. I visit this location from time to time and always receive great service from their helpful employees, who are always willing to offer suggestions on what to try.

It is a peaceful venue with amazing staff, I must admit that their Monster Burritos are better than any other place.

This restaurant serves the best burritos hands down, with generous portions. The XL burrito, which costs an additional $3.00, is perfect for two people. The manager was fantastic and made our burritos extra special. We tried the veggie and guacamole burrito, and it was huge! We will definitely be returning.
