フィードバックを提供するI went to Jumbo Vegan Restaurant and was pleased to see they had a variety of clearly marked vegan options on their menu. I ordered the sesame tofu and the strawberry tea, both of which were delicious and reasonably priced.
I apologize for my previous confusion about the additional $2 charge, which was actually mentioned on the menu. Everyone is welcome at this restaurant, and they offer a variety of options for both vegans and non-vegans. I ordered the fake chicken with baby bok choy, which was delicious and a generous portion. While I didn't mind paying extra for the faux meat, it would have been nice for it to be clearly stated on the menu to avoid any surprises. Despite this, I plan on returning to try more dishes. I appreciate the vegan options available and want to support this restaurant, even though it's a bit far from my home.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of vegan options and is my top choice for Chinese vegan cuisine in Rockland County.
Throwback to the days when we ate meat in Chinese restaurants. Since vegan, we only go to vegan places but decided to try this one. I’m not sure they fully understand “vegan” (oh, is honey not vegan, they asked us) but they have May Wah meat substitutes which is nice. Pretty typical sauces, but sometimes that just what you crave!
Yes, they serve meat, as do ALL Asian restaurants in the area. When with my family of meat and cheese eaters, we usually opt for Asian cuisine since there is something for everyone. Most Asian restaurants have at least one tofu dish and are willing to leave out fish sauce. This restaurant has as many options for vegans as they do for meat eaters since they have tofu dishes and the ability to use seitan in any meat dish! I had the general tso's and it was delicious. My family was very interested in try my vegan food, which is not a regular occurance.
