The Chip Shed - Stroud

We had stopped in minchinhampton for a few nights on the way back from cornwall in our home mobile, love the village. at our last night we decided to eat, but we could not decide whether we try the ragged cot or the krone. cot had a very reduced menu due to coronavirus problems the reviews for the crown did not like well, so we decided to try the local chippy instead of it was a nice evening to eat them outside. what a good decision. service was served on the spot, fish, chips mushy boiled with lemon wedge a delicious tartaric acid sauce. succulent white flocks cooked by cod to perfection in a light teig, even naves that no fan of batter really enjoyed it. can honestly say it were the best fish chips we had in one. we will certainly call again when in the opposite.

Amazing quality take away, at sensible prices. A wide choice of fish cooked to your on-line order and ready for collection at the chosen time. The batter is amazing and generous portions of chips are well cooked and tasty. All are packed in cardboard boxes...which prevent the sogginess associated with paper wrapped meals elsewhere. We go back regularly!!

Delicious and comes with home made tartar sauce. Order in advance. Even chicken nuggets delicious hand made

Went to the chip shed last Tuesday I was absolutely appalled. My fish was overly greasy, my chips were stone cold almost like they haven’t been cooked, my husbands scampi he said was under cooked we are both disappointed by the staff as they were...very unwelcoming and whoever the young female is she needs to sort out her attitude, I’m very angry at the monstrosity that was deemed okay to be served to a customer. WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!!

Waited half an hour after the pick-up period before the ordering, while the staff seemed to prioritize their delivery rubers. it looks like the personal forgot to create chips. difficult to expect that people want to eat.
