The Brew Kettle - Strongsville

We went on a whim for a Sunday lunch. Menu is decent and it has some vegetarian options. We got the jalapeño cornbread and it's not really cornbread it's more of a cake. It was really soft and had no corn meal texture. I got the mushroom melt and it was OK but not great. The only real flavor was the rye bread and the goat cheese. It needed salt and the stem of the portobello should be taken out as it was nearly impossible to chew or cut through. Their soda machine might need some work too as the coke zero definently didn't taste right. The beer menu looks decent with a few sour beers and 25 cents to try. Overall I wasn't impressed and for an almost $50 lunch I really wasn't satisfied with the quality.... won't be returning

Wow, this place turned into a flop. The new menu is really bad with many great items no longer available. Portion sizes are very small for the price and the food was average at best. TBK used to be one of my favorite places in the area. I’m not sure what they were thinking with these changes but I won’t be back.

Apparently, the owner is not that interested in talking further with me as mentioned in his response below. I did access the link and agreed to have them contact me, but.......crickets! Ordered take out for the first time from the new menu. First, I don't like the option. Second the pot pie was a flat container of slop. Third, didnt realize that you dont have broccoli, which I ordered. The order taker did not correct me about only having brocolini. That being said. When I opened the container, it was a very poor representation. Oh well, that's all for me....no more. .

The service was good, but my husband and I did not like the food. He ordered a brisket burger, and it actually was just a regular burger.

I got shrimp grits here that was on par with some of had in the south, very spicy and flavorful. real good food. they got a burger that was a mix of elk, boar, bison wagyu beef. thats intense. huge building too. my only complaints were prices are somewhat high (although this is expected given the area), and there is little to no options for people who dont like meat. real loud place also. definitely seems like itd be a great place to go for a sports game, i bet ordering a bunch of appetizers and beers with your friends would be real fun.
