Roamers Event Center - Streator

Wish I had more pictures of the quincenera. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this little venue is. Very spacious and lots of room for casual seating outside of the big hall. Great design by the new owner. It was beautiful.

Had a nightmare of a wedding after party here. Arrived with 30 guests for a party we confirmed 3 months, 2 weeks, and then 2 days in advance. Staff acted like they had no idea we were coming, then proceeded to argue and fight with my husband and I. They yelled at my guests for entering the lounge, which they told me two days prior was for our private party. No one was wearing masks, even though they previously threatened to cancel my party if my guests didn't wear masks. Bartenders were serving drinks without any sanitary measures. We tried to make the best of it because it was late and we just wanted to end our otherwise perfect wedding day on a high note. They ended up charging me $300 for a party that never happened and when I took it to the owner, he called me entitled and refused to give us any refund other than 20% off a future booking. Claimed we didn't confirm our booking, was unapologetic and clearly just took our money and ran. Rooms were dirty, staff was rude and incompetent. Avoid at all costs.

This motel might have been worth $60. The room was clean. This is a very old motel. The door to the adjoining room allowed soft spoken words from the other room to enter our room. This would be very cold in winter as there was a large gap under the outside door. There was no facial tissue in the room. When the reception was asked for a box, I was told to use toilet paper. There was no coffee pot in the room, so no hot water cups. The reception gave me 2 cups. I'd go to another city before I stay here.

We went to this hotel and had an amazing time. The atmosphere and service were great. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time.Staff was really amazing helpful.They helped me almost every way.Super experience.Thanks

Great clean room. I did not have enough towels but I called the front desk and it did not take too long to get them. I like the fact that the floors are not carpeted! So clean. Must recommend for good stay.
