Not Your Average Country - Stratford

I was actually hoping to go dance at this bar. If you don't want to dance, and you want to play shuffle board under bright lights- this is definitely the place for you. Not your average country bar indeed! The drinks are reasonably priced- patrons pretty friendly but I doubt I return.

Love this place and the shuffle boards are top notch, draft beer is cold and the ladies are pretty as a peach

This is an excellent spot for a fun time! They offer free pool and shuffleboard, which is a big plus. I've heard the drinks are fantastic, but I really appreciate that they always have Diet Dr. Pepper on hand when I arrive. The karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays is what first drew me in, but overall, it's just a really chill and enjoyable place to spend time with friends.

When I ordered my second margarita, it turned out to be quite the opposite; this time, they didn’t add enough tequila—barely 1 ounce! It was mostly mix. I asked them to remake it, but the bartender went to the manager for approval and came back with nothing but a shrug. I hadn’t even touched my drink, so after about 45 minutes of waiting, I decided to go get a bottle of water. Suddenly, a young customer approached me and my friend, saying we shouldn’t make the bartenders’ job harder. That was my third strike. Eventually, they offered to remake my drink, but after the wildly unbalanced first margarita, the second one being too weak, the rude clientele, and the annoying millennial music they play, I definitely won’t be returning. It was clear that customer service wasn’t a priority here!
