Charlie B's - STOWE

The place was empty. I've been asking for sweet potatoes I've been running regularly. It's not worth coming back. Our waiter called us while he put us another table, didn't come until he saw we were done. Never came back to see if we needed anything or to ask how the food was. Update 9/14 Thanks for recognition, but you missed the point of total experience. Our waiter did not come to our table until he saw that we were finished, so the question of correcting the order was not an option we had.

First time in Stowe since I was 10. We?re here for the British Invasion so looked for a spot for dinner on Thursday decided on Charlie B?s. We were very pleased nice quiet place our server Neil was very pleasant and took care of us very well. For dinner wifey had the clam chowder and shrimp scampi she was very pleased with the chowder the scampi needed help was a little watery. I had the French Onion Soup and fish and chips, the soup was cooked okay the fish was perfectly cooked and very hot, the coleslaw has a hint of Maple syrup overall everything was good, but we couldn?t eat it all and no room for dessert. Enjoy Charlie B?s had a good deal of character and good eats. Cheers. ??

Great food, little overpriced but what can you expect in Stowe. Better than the stoweflakes fancy restaurant if you ask me. Almost no one goes in even though it?s so good.

Great late-night stop after an 8-hour drive from PA. Kathy, our bartender/server/savior was pleasant and accommodating and the rack of ribs and local beer was a delight (and that's taking food deprivation from an 8-hour ride and tiredness into account). The interior is very well decorated and cozy.

No tables available so I placed an order to be delivered to my room. Best decision after a long day of exploring! Salmon was delicious! Zoodles were food. Pilaf tasted like it had been sitting a while. French onion soup was missing something. It was ok. One of my favorite soups but I probably wouldn't order it here again. Overall maybe a little overpriced but was happy to have it brought to my room.
